Thermal transfer printers can be used in a wider range of environments than any other printer in this class. The TX200 series can be adapted from large size labels (105 x 150 mm) used in logistics, printing, higher resolution product labeling or graphics solutions to high resolution labels used for labeling electronic components, with a choice of three models:
TX200 – 203 dpi resolution and up to 8 in/s print speed
TX300 – 300 dpi resolution and up to 6 in/s print speed
TX600 – 600dpi resolution and up to 4in/s print speed with the precise calibration and registration needed to print the smallest labels.
TX200 series is the result of 23 years of engineering in the best-selling, high-performance and robust class of standard printers. The printers use large 300m ribbons with one-inch cores, which saves both time and money. The TX200 Series uses a convenient folding spring design that allows convenient and easy loading of 5 inch diameter label rolls. The printer features a robust, double-wall construction that is stronger and more durable than other thermal transfer mechanisms on the market. Its powerful engine is capable of printing with a 300 meter long ribbon.
TX200 series has standard USB 2.0, USB-Host, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and serial interfaces. Bluetooth, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi or Centronics interfaces are available for an additional cost. Also available options: color LCD screen, label removal module and cutter.
Like all TSC printers, the TX-200 series features TSPL-EZ™ firmware. TSPL-EZ™ supports three different printer programming languages: TSC, TPLE (Translation Printer Language Eltron) and TPLZ (Translation Printer Language Zebra). The TSPL-EZ™ also features internal scalable TrueType fonts (based on the Monotype® font engine) that are normally only found on more expensive printers.
