Thermal transfer printer manufacturers recommend regular print head cleaning.
Cleaning is necessary to remove all residues from printing, such as: label dust, ink, glue, etc. Over time, the residue becomes a permanent barrier between the print head and the label, resulting in poor print quality. Users then tend to increase the print temperature, shortening the life of the head.
We offer an efficient, cheap and safe way to clean the printhead yourself.
These are wet wipes for cleaning the printer head.
Features
Wet wipes for cleaning the printer head are moistened with a solution of isopropyl alcohol. This solution actively cleans dirt. In addition, it does not harm the printer head at all. Just a few swipes over the printer head with a damp tissue is enough.
Usage
Wet wipes are used to clean thermal printer heads, rollers, guides and other surfaces.* It is not recommended to clean sensors.
* We recommend testing the surface before cleaning to see if it is solvent-free.
Composition
Non-woven fabric (55% wood mass, 45% polyester). Isopropyl alcohol 99.97%, Cymene 0.03%. The packaging material is made of aluminum foil and PE film, which prevents the liquid from evaporating and keeps the napkin moist.
